Why should you eat bison meat? The American Heart Association has added buffalo meat to its list (“Eating Plan for Healthy Americans”) of “Heart Healthy” foods. That is the best reason to add buffalo meat to your families dining options. 
Today, health conscious Americans have a choice ~ a red meat source that is low in fat, cholesterol and calories, yet is high in protein, vitamins and minerals ~ all natural, healthful and great tasting, all in one package! The "Great American Bison" is making its way to the dinner plate of consumers. Bison is the true name for the animal we commonly call "Buffalo." We will refer to buffalo meat as both "buffalo" and "bison" throughout this site.
Our South Dakota raised, grass-fed buffalo meat tastes great and is loaded with good stuff and lacks the bad stuff. It is the mission of the Lazy RRse Buffalo Ranch to supply quality buffalo meats to our customers, while honoring and respecting the North American Buffalo.
